How it works

Our Journey programs require commitment. We count on our Youth Agency partners to recruit participants and cover part of the cost. Chicago Voyagers, on the other hand, designs the program to focus on a particular area of development such as leadership, teamwork, or communication.  

Generally, Journeys comprise of eight teens and two adult chaperones (which the partnering agency is expected to send). We assign a guide, volunteers, and equipment. We are also responsible for the overall management of the program and do whatever we can to ensure everyone has a successful experience.

Programs are free to our youth. We ask our partners to cover a small portion of the program costs. Please contact our Program Manager using the button below to discuss this further.

Cancellation/Reschedule policy

By committing to this program, you agree to pay 25% of the regular non-discounted fee if you cancel/reschedule. This fee is increased to 50% if you cancel between 2 and 14 days before the program start. Cancellations with less than 48 hours before the program start incurs a 75% cancellation/reschedule fee so that we can cover our costs.

Late payment: payments over 30 days past due will be assessed a 1.5%/month fee.
