  • Dwight White II is a multi-disciplinary artist who straddles the line between fine art, sociology, and experiential design. Raised in Houston, TX, he built his artistic practice in Chicago, IL. White has been inspired by the ways in which one can capture truth visually to engage and connect with people. He loves the challenge of taking the viewer beyond just seeing the art – he believes they should feel it. His confidence and commitment to his craft is inspiring as he embraces his function in society to document the history of connected cultural experiences through art. White discovered the intersection of artistic experiences, consumer insights, and sports while attending Northwestern University as a student athlete. Nuanced Black human behavior and personal experiences are prevalent subjects throughout his work. He utilizes insights to inspire, innovate, and explore relevant material with culture through creativity. Further, he is focused on creating collections and public works such as murals that reach the greater community and more importantly, the next generation. White is the creator of Something I Can Feel (SICF), an immersive art-driven experience designed to inspire, uplift, and empower communities through visual art, music, and thoughtful programming. The annual public exhibition honors and supports Chicago’s elite creative community, prioritizing social connectivity, mental health, and wellness.

  • Eddie White, also known as “Edo,” is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur from Chicago's South Side. With a diverse creative skill set spanning art, fashion, graphic design, and industrial design, Edo embodies the concept of infinity. Under his brand Infinite Inception, he explores boundless and timeless creativity, drawing inspiration from his favorite film, Inception. His art is not just a visual experience, but an immersive journey, with each viewing revealing something new, distinct, and infinite. Each piece is an intricate work of art, featuring over 100 thoughtfully incorporated images, ensuring that every viewing becomes an engaging and intriguing discovery. Beyond his creative pursuits, Edo is committed to mentorship and advocacy of the youth.

  • Chicago-based artist and musician, Arrington Porter, has been creating professionally for the past 11 years. Porter uses his childhood experiences and his love for music as the source of inspiration for most of his work. Each piece tells a story depicting his own personal nostalgia.

 

Kevin West

  • Kevin West is a professional fine artist, art entrepreneur, and art instructor in the Indianapolis area, specializing in contemporary abstract paintings and portrait art. Kevin studied at the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis prior to exploring business ventures in art. Early initiatives included teaching art classes at the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis and hosting private portrait painting workshops. Kevin, a cancer survivor, has not let life’s obstacles stop him. Rather, they have fueled the passion for his craft. His larger-than-life art is filled with colorful lines of emotion dancing across the canvas. In his twenty years as a professional artist, Kevin has experimented with a variety of mediums and concepts including mixed media and oil painting. His abstract portrait art done with acrylics and oil pastels are figures of pop culture, Black influencers, and children.

  • Morgan Nicolette is a Chicago-based artist that has a passionate love for visual artistry and storytelling. She uses her work to explore different aspects of storytelling that range from folklore to how we use it for escapism. The basis of her work aims to explore how stories intertwine in our lives and how it impacts our perception of the world we live in.

  • Rae Denise, based in Chicago’s neighboring suburbs, creates work that centers women infused with divinity, enriched through culture, and embraced by nature. Often inspired by personal experiences, travels, and curiosities, the works lead to abandon ‘survival’ within harsh conditions and show how powerfully resilient it can be in transformation with reclamation, discovery, and grace.

  • Sam Kirk is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist who explores culture and identity politics. Her artwork focuses on a variety of intersections which encompass a call to celebrate differences and enact change. She has been recognized for her public art career, as she intentionally uses the public space to uplift and celebrate historically excluded communities. Her portfolio includes 60+ permanent murals and temporary installations throughout the world. Inspired by the nuances of the human experience, Kirk’s artwork includes narrative-driven pieces that are meant to reveal the layers of life and how these moments impact our identity. Her vibrant color palette, intricate line-work, and layered backgrounds highlight cultural communities via multi-toned figures recalled from memories of her childhood, travels throughout the world, and histories often unpublished. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the National Museum of Mexican Art, Gerber Hart Library & Archives, Disney Villas in Anaheim, CA, owned by Grammy Award-winning musicians Daddy Yankee and Pitbull, and featured in top publications such as Forbes and Travel & Leisure among many others. Her collaborations include global brands, non-profit organizations, and higher education institutions across the US.
